Easel Cards

I have made a slight change to the advertised programme for my workshop this coming Saturday (I don't think anyone will mind!) We will be making easel cards as these can be as complicated or as simple as you like. Here is a more complicated version for those who like a bit more of a challenge, using Crafty Individuals papers and images.

Here you can see how it stands up:

And another close up here showing detail of the 3-d punched flowers and butterfly:

And here is a simple Christmas version using a sizzix die in the Big Shot. Great if you need to make a few Christmas cards in a hurry (unless of course you have got them all done already!)

See you on Saturday! Dates for the workshops next term are in the sidebar.
Bye for now :-)

Children's Parties

These photos were taken at a party I did recently for an 8 year old. Thirteen 8 year olds managed to produce these fabulous canvases in 1 1/2 hours. We even managed to clean up the mess in record time!

The images came from the fabulous Lisa's Altered Art. Go check it out! Of course, 8 year old girls just love kittens!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Half way through October means it's nearly Christmas, right?! Well, it's time to make your Christmas goodies anyway. On Saturday 17th October I'll be holding an all-day Christmas workshop. The day will include lots of mini tutorials and you'll be able to pick and choose which ones you'd like to do. These pics are of a Christmas banner:

And a close-up of the detail:

We'll also be making some gift bags like this:

And some really quick and easy gift bags like this:

There'll also be some ideas for cards for anyone who wants to have a go and it will be my mission to get some of you painting a mini canvas!
There'll be extra kits to but on the day if you feel like doing more when you get home.......
If you have any questions you can e-mail me - just click on the button in my sidebar.
